The U-District Mentoring program matches committed, caring adults with vulnerable children, creating long lasting positive relationships that act as a catalyst for hopeful futures.

One guiding principle: No Child Walks Alone

What We Do

  • Community-Based Mentoring

Our community-based program pairs mentors and mentees for 4 hours per month over 18 months. Together, matches explore local community resources, work toward personal goals, and build meaningful relationships through shared experiences and activities throughout the area.

  • Site-Based Mentoring

Our site-based program brings mentors directly to students' schools for 30-minute sessions each week during lunch periods. Matches engage in games, conversations, and relationship-building activities in a familiar, convenient school setting.

How to get involved

Become a Mentor: Share your time and experience by mentoring a student in our community-based or site-based program. We provide training, ongoing support, and flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle.

Make a Donation: Your financial contribution directly supports mentor training, program activities, and resources that help our matches thrive. Every dollar makes an impact.

Partner with Us: We welcome corporate sponsors and in-kind donations that help strengthen our program. From funding special events to removing the financial barrier for mentors, your business can play a vital role in supporting local youth.
